Update- UTP will be closing.
After many years of running the speed shop, I have come to the decision to close the business. Many of you already know of my main career as a military contractor. With that being said, I am in the middle of obtaining my doctorate in aviation. That challenge requires 2-3 hours per day of commitment. So, Sharon and I have made the decision to close. With that being said, porting intakes in my machine shop demands 12-24 hours straight labor, the throttle bodies take days to print, then more to assemble. This commitment to the Magnum engine requires time, I can no longer juggle. Just leaning over the intakes for portwork is wearing on my bad back and moving me closer to a decision for a discetomy on my back I have been putting off. I am very thankful for everyone we have crossed paths with and helped with tuning and combos. All orders we currently have (manifold port, flow kits and 108mms) are being completed and closed out. I do not know at this time who will take over my 108mm production, but everyone will know when it happens. It has been my great honor to serve the Magnum community since 93' back in the old s-bolt hand ported throttle bodies days. Maybe when I complete this PHD journey, I will purchase a new Tormach CNC and release some cool designs in the future. Until then, thank you to each and everyone who has supported us!
